I think I caught everybody, as the Grosse Pointe North Girls Cross Country team went out to the Oakland University Golden Grizzly Invitational meet Friday. The Dodge House "Meadowbrook Hall" on the Campus of Oakland University not far from the course (different day) A big race spreadout over what an a cooler day would have been a pleasant course, but on Friday was a scorcher (as far as typical autumn cross-country meets go.

The food truck culture in Detroit is beginning to catch on. Taco trucks being the majority. For a recent event hosted by the middle school bands and orchestras we booked El Taquito to supply the tacos for their "Fiesta del Sol". Grilled beef, chicken, and spicy pork were offered.
