Kyushu izakaya with Keysight (ESI) team in Shinjuku

Kyushu Netchuya, Shinjuku in the Nomura Building  The team in Shinjuku Tokyo, in Japanese custom, very hospitably invited StringGrrl out for an Authentic Kyushu izakaya experience. We walked from the office to a nearby shopping area to visit the restaurants in the lower levels (Why can't we have such nice things in the USA?). Izakaya are casual Japanese pubs or taverns that serve drinks and a variety of small plates, similar to experiences with Tapas in Spain, the work teams will leave the office for a drink and meal of several tastes before embarking on sometimes long commutes home. Kyushu Island is home to Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Oita, Saga, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Okinawa prefectures. It is the 3rd largest of the Japanese Islands and is the southernmost of the larger Japanese "mainland".  Credited with being the "Birthplace of Ramen", where Tonkotsu Ramen was innovated as a novel new dish using Chinese Noodles in a Creamy Pork Bone broth. Moonrise Kingdom, a cozy craft beer bar in Tokyo-Shinjuku

Craft Brewing is not what normally comes to mind when people ask about Japan. They'll ask if you like raw fish (there is more to Japanese cuisine than Sashimi or Sushi), or they'll comment about Sake (there is more than just rice wine in Japan); but if you look, you will definitely find some. Goodbye AutoForm: a love letter to my colleagues, friends, and AutoForm family

Over the past 14+ years with AutoForm, I have had the pleasure to visit every office but two (sorry India and Mexico). I have been to each AutoForm Weekend since Nice. I have taken part in nearly every competence group in one way another. Which has given me a chance to meet so many of all of you AutoFormers throughout the years. StringGirl 3.0 waves goodbye This August, I take my first step on a grand new adventure by departing AutoForm and Sheet Metal Forming as a whole. It has been a distinct pleasure to work with such a fine collection of professionals. The original StringGirl and the original AutoFormer  It was not an easy step to choose to move on, but move on I must. Know that I have treasured my time and AutoForm and believe that your company and solutions are bound for many great things. I am sad that I will not be a party to that future, and that I will not anymore be seeing those of you I ran into the most throughout my frequent travels. On our way to anothe...
