A stroll under Paris: Catacombs and Ossuary

Inscriptions in the Limestone walls of the former quarries mark the dates of the excavations Breaking from long habit of only enjoying our travels from what we can see for free, we took the chance to venture into an area where the only legal entry is via the tourist trap. Our travel companions this trip wanted to see the catacombs, we tagged along. Limestone fortifications to shore up walls Underground adventure is something that we are fundamentally not that in to. Caving, Mining, and other subterranean explorations are not usually our cup of tea. It is creepy, dirty, and not achievable while travelling on business so often. But here in Paris there is a chance. For around 30-35€ one can enter a once forbidden part of the city and check it out. The Halls of Moria It takes just under 1 hour to walk the length of the Catacombs that are open to the public. A day in Munich with the Grosse Pointe North German class tour

The Class in front of the Neurrathaus, Marienplatz Munich The Munich Altstadt is well known for the large clockwork on the Neue Rathaus (New Town Hall) several times each day the bells will ring while automation will put on a show commemorating the 1568 tournament held for the marriage of Duke William V and Renata of Lorraine in the Marienplatz. Bridgnorth a.k.a. Upperhobbiton of the Shire

Where to Stay in Bridgenorth, The Coachhouse Bed and Breakfast Not that we easily imagine a reason to visit this part of Shropshire, if you happen to find yourself in the Severn Valley, we recommend staying in at this Bed and Breakfast in the "Low Town" of Bridgenorth. The lodging was suitably "quaint" and service was fantastic.  http://thecoachhousebridgnorth.webs.com/ The Full English Breakfast at the Coachhouse What could be more PC than a pub called the "Black Boy Inn"? The Kingshead Back to "Low Town" and the Coachhouse Have a major Curry and lots of beer before a trade fair, always a good idea Chicken Tikka Masala with a side of Vindaloo Gravy, just to make sure you burn a whole in yourself For good measure, be sure to fill up on Pappadam and Lime Pickle to make sure digestion is completely messed up Paul brought us to Eurasia Tandoori There was almost not enough Naan and Rice to mellow ...
