Barcelona, Spain: Joan Miro museam

Brought back to my mind the visit we made to Barcelona and this fine Museo at the top of Barcelona's Montjuïc . Poised high atop the mountain to the south side of the city. We paid that hillside a visit back in 2010 and made our pilgrimage to the Joan Miro Museum.

The Museum is a delight to visit, not only for the works of Miro which are housed there, but also the works of his contemporaries and friends. Housed with a great view of the Mediteranean and the city of Barcelona it is well worth the trek to the top (trek?  OK we took the Gondola and the Funicular).
