Among the things great about living in (near) the city is texture, that is the stuff that makes cities like the "D" what they are. You never get the feel of a city just bustling about in your car from work to grocery, home to church (or what not). No, in order to get a feel for your city or any city you visit need to partake in the people.

Napkin given me by Paris at the National Coney Island |
Sitting three stools away at the counter, Paris was sketching on the back of the placemat with the kids meal crayons. He asked me if my phone had internet and suggested that I Google his handle "Parisel313". What I find is his YouTube channel featuring his drawings set to music; His cartoons. That you don't find in guidebooks or while shut in. You only find this by looking for the texture of the city.
He has a YouTube channel and I have found his videos linked to (or stolen/) on several other sites. He has his own comic series that he promotes via http://comicfury.com/, and more.

A Love Konnection! pg 1
Best of luck to Paris and thanks for the tip. Look forward to reading more.
