Back in the air, been a while

Making our way to Europe via Amsterdam. This flight we have made dozens of times these past years. We have over our time started to make some friends in the airport.

Today we hit to see one if our friends, one of the few we have been able to rely upon. Cane (a delta red jacket, customer service rep) i have been able to see more often than I have seen some of my colleagues, and only aside at the airport.

He has helped me or with seating issues in the past, always looks in on my flights to see if we can get an upgrade, and been there with a smile when things were not working out. Today I was happy that I could do anything nice for him.

It's just a small thing but it made him smile and i hope he enjoys it. A new NCAA official football. Embossed with the logo of the company that posts for all this travel.

Thanks Cane again you set the bar for courtesy and service at Delta.

Moonrise Kingdom, a cozy craft beer bar in Tokyo-Shinjuku

Craft Brewing is not what normally comes to mind when people ask about Japan. They'll ask if you like raw fish (there is more to Japanese cuisine than Sashimi or Sushi), or they'll comment about Sake (there is more than just rice wine in Japan); but if you look, you will definitely find some. Sebastian supplied the sleds/toboggans, and after a full morning on the mountain skiing. We planned to use the few remaining hours of lift access to run the Rodelbahn. Totally reasonable. 3) The run isn't like a luge or bobsled but a trail down reasonable slopes (switchbacks adjacent to a green dot, blue square ski run) but maybe a bit narrower.
