Color Tour by Canoe: Susquehanna, Delaware, and Pawtuxet Rivers

Driving between Michigan and Rhode Island to visit Rey at his place near Providence is no small thing. If straight non-stop driving was easy it would  only  take 12.5 hours to cover 800 miles and pass through Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and finally Rhode Island. (Can't cut through Canada, right now, eh? COVID travel restrictions and all, eh?) So, why not make a proper trip of it and plan to drive in smaller chunks and get some paddling in while on the way? StringGirl took the canoe out east hoping to find the Autumn Colors changing (Susquehanna) StringGirl suggested to take the Canoe and Bike along for a Road Trip to Rhode Island After leaving home ridiculously late on a Wednesday afternoon, StringGirl and I overnighted near the Pennsylvania Wilds  (in the car at the rest stop, not so fun).
