Hiking in the coutryside on Sunday afternoon is such a part of Swiss Lifestyle that one cannot help but partake any time one is in Switzerland for the weekend. Near the Cosmopolitan city of Zurich, Flumserberg is an alpine sporting area that features wintersports and hiking. What we see once we arrive at the stop of the Flumserberg lift to Maschgenkamm After a short 1 hour train ride from Zurich HB we alight at Unterterzen, whose railstation is directly across the street from the first cable car up the mountain. Taking a weekend between two consecutive weeks in Europe on company business, brought me back to Zurich and Switzerland.
