Redhook Seattle Brewery

On this recent trip to Seattle, I stayed in the north eastern burbs near the town of Woodinville. A quick Google search pointed me toward the Woodinville Tourist District and the Redhook brewery and Forecasters pub. The Redhook Brewery in Woodinville View Larger Map The tanks are readily visible as you approach along the drive to the brewery confirming that this "MicroBrewery" does in fact not only brew beer for internal consumption, but is also the same site that brews the Redhook Ales that I have sample before. North American International Autoshow 2013

Being from the "D" has a few highlights, one of which is the AutoShow. Playing for the "home crowd" the Autoshow in Detroit may not be the biggest or the fanciest but it is a show for the people. Here it is very likely that the folks walking about the show may have had their hands in the design, engineering, manufacture, and build of the cars on display. Trains

Taking the train in Europe is a great way to travel. Having taken trains throughout much of western Europe I can vouch for their efficiency and joy for travel. No X-rays or porno-scanners. Walk about all you want during take-off and arrival. Get off and on and take other connections (ticket allowing). Linger a little longer in a city and take the next one, no problem. Great train video footage taken in Norway splicing multiple train journeys into a single cohesive clip, as if the train is in fact taking its passengers to the four seasons. via BoingBoing.net Eirik Solheim is an amazing geek and CC activist at NRK, the Norwegian public broadcaster. He writes, "We filmed a train ride four times. One time for each season; winter, spring, summer and autumn. Then we used an accurate GPS-track to sync the four videos using some clever programming in combination with after effects. Giving us endless possibilities for spectacular video footage. You can watch it on the web, but w...
