FW: Kalbi in Seoul

While in Seoul one must find and enjoy Korean barbecue. Cooked at you table and served with rice and an assortment of kimchi nothing is better for enjoying the cuisine of South Korea. Kalbi is tender well fatted beef short rib meat which is cooked on small gas barbecue built into the table. Diners are then free to pull the meat off as eat morsel is cooked to their tastes. Wrapped in lettuce leaves along with pickled cabbage, seasoned bean sprouts, and spicy sauces. Dee-lish. Colleagues from AutoForm and Melchers joined treated StringGirl and The Self Proclaimed Die-Expert to this fine meal in one of the bustling entertainment districts of Seoul's satellite cities. Over Lake Michigan

Taking the morning flight over the big Lake on the way to Korea. There's a moderate layover in Chi-town before the marathon flight to Seoul. Got this stellar view of the ice on the big lake. Not sure which beach is below

Go there without Going there: Googleartproject

StringGirl recently made the trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts. Here's your chance to visit some of the most well known art Museums in the world without having to log nearly as many Miles as StringGirl. http://www.googleartproject.com/ Take a stroll through the great museums from the comfort (and relative boredom) of your PC. No this does not make the actual trip to the museum any less transcendent but it does enrich the experience you can have when you visit one for real. More context!
